Summary: Kadar attempts a leap of faith.
Notes: For my best Malik,atrypical. ♥
“Brother?” comes the mild question, and Malik doesn't even sigh despite how well he knows that tone. That's the tone of "I have a minor injury and I'm not sure how to take care of it".
"Yes, Kadar?" as he turns, and Kadar is standing there, awkward in his novice grays, and there's a gash across his stomach that thankfully stops with the fabric.
"I was trying to do a leap of faith," he explained. "I missed the hay a little."
Malik just looks at him, and now he does sigh internally. "Come here, then," he says, and Kadar goes.
